Job Description:

This travel contract is designed for an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse caring for adolescent through geriatric patients in a trauma and neurological intensive care setting. The role includes managing complex trauma, stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, post-neurosurgical, and multi-system critical care cases during 12-hour day shifts. Responsibilities include ventilator management, EVD and ICP monitoring, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, CRRT/CVVHD care, arterial and central line management, blood product administration, sedation, dysrhythmia interpretation, and accurate, detailed charting. Nurses may float within the service line and should be prepared for a focused assignment where chart audits and precise assessments are important. This contract welcomes first-time travelers who meet the experience and certification requirements.

Ventura typically offers mild, comfortable conditions with plenty of sunshine, cool evenings, and occasional coastal breezes. Light layers are useful for enjoying both the waterfront and inland areas throughout the day.

Job Specifics:

Location: Ventura, California
Shift: 12-hour days, 3 shifts per week, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
Duration: 36 hours per week for 13 weeks
