Job Description:

Join a small community hospital respiratory therapy department as a travel Respiratory Therapist supporting adults with emphysema, asthma, and other respiratory conditions. You will provide respiratory assessments and treatments, non-invasive ventilation, high-flow oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, arterial blood gas collection and analysis, chest physiotherapy, airway management, tracheostomy care, and ventilator weaning. The assignment includes emergency department support, EPIC documentation, and work with equipment such as Servo I and LTV 1200 ventilators, Phillips V60 and Vision BiPAP systems, and Teleflex high-flow nasal cannulas. Invasive ventilation is stabilized in the emergency department before transfer, allowing you to focus on a broad range of respiratory interventions in a close-knit setting.

Job Specifics:

Location: Massena, New York
Shift: 12-hour day shifts, primarily 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; one 8-hour Friday shift, with Friday overnight call from 1:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m.
Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week
