Job Description:

This travel Registered Nurse assignment supports a combined medical-surgical oncology unit caring for oncology and general medical-surgical patients, including individuals receiving inpatient hospice services. The role includes full telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation, oncology-focused care, central line and port management, sterile dressing changes, breathing treatments, tracheostomy suctioning, and titration of drips such as heparin and Cardizem. Nurses should have oncology experience, BLS certification, and the ability to complete a dysrhythmia examination during onboarding. Chemo certification through an ONS provider card is preferred. The assignment offers 12-hour night shifts, rotating through unit pods, with every-other-weekend coverage and no call requirement.
