Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is for a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse providing direct care to general medical and surgical patients, including short-stay procedures, orthopaedic, stroke, and remote telemetry-monitored patients. The overnight schedule runs from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday coverage. Responsibilities include assessments, documentation, medication administration, IV insertion, Foley insertion, vital signs, EKGs, point-of-care blood glucose testing, and assisting with rapid sequence intubation. Floating may be required as needed. No call is required, and blocked scheduling may be requested.
