Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel contract in Winchester supporting cardiovascular operating room procedures. In this role, you will prepare the operating room, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, and provide sterile instrumentation support for cardiac and major vascular cases. Experience with open-heart procedures, CABG, valve repairs or replacements, aortic surgery, structural heart procedures, and mechanical circulatory support is valued. The assignment includes early starts for first-case cardiac procedures, rotating call, weekend coverage, and occasional floating. A Virginia license, NBSTSA certification, and AHA BLS are required.

Job Specifics:

Shift: 10-hour days, typically 6:15 a.m.–4:45 p.m. for first-case cardiac procedures or 6:45 a.m.–5:15 p.m. for other cases; rotating call and weekend coverage required
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week, with 36 weekly guaranteed hours
