Job Description:

This travel assignment is for a Medical Technologist II supporting a clinical laboratory in Soldotna, Alaska. You will perform and evaluate laboratory testing on patient specimens, provide diagnostic data for treatment decisions, and supervise designated laboratory areas. The role includes work with chemistry, hematology, microbiology, urinalysis, blood banking, and related laboratory systems. Equipment and systems include Sysmex analyzers, Vitros instruments, GenExpert, Meditech, Gel tube blood banking, and other specialized platforms. Candidates should have at least two years of recent experience, CLS or MLT/MT certification through ASCP or AMT, and BLS certification. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts, with variable shift lengths, possible weekend work, no call, and the possibility of working independently. Department orientation includes training on processing equipment and Meditech.
