Job Description:

This travel contract is for a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse supporting general medical patients, including cases involving sepsis, COPD, bowel obstructions, and CHF. The assignment includes 12-hour day shifts on a 28-bed unit, with responsibilities that may include titrating insulin and heparin drips, reviewing telemetry strips, and caring for patients requiring CPAP or established BiPAP support. Travelers should hold current state licensure and AHA BLS certification. Regional floating may be required when support is needed at another facility within the area, adding variety to the assignment.

Expect generally cool, damp weather with periods of cloud cover and rain, along with occasional mild and comfortable days for exploring the area.
