Why did you choose Atlas MedStaff?
Coming from a much larger agency, I was excited about the close knit, all hands-on deck, every voice matters, family vibe. Fostering genuine, respectful relationships with my travelers is my superpower, and Atlas stands behind that mentality. They are committed to innovation, integrity, and doing the right thing – because it’s the right thing. Also – we get to have fun doing it!
Family:
I have two amazing daughters – Vaida and Ella. My husband, Josh, is my best friend, and completely outnumbered by the girls in this house.
Pets:
We have a German Shepherd – Charlotte, who we lovingly refer to as “Dummy”. Smartest dog I have ever known, can’t stop doing dumb things to save her life. She finds a way to injure herself by running into things while playing fetch – A LOT.
Our cat, Otto, is the definition of a grumpy old man and tolerates us all, at best. We are a source of food and shelter – and occasional head scratches – on HIS terms.
Hobbies:
I enjoy reading psychological thriller novels. I can finish a book in a day if it’s so good I can’t put it down! I am also a big fan of thriller and horror movies. Documentaries are my jam. I am a true foodie and love trying new restaurants and dishes. I also like trying new recipes at home and cook at least 5 nights a week. I love to travel, and my happy place is next to an ocean.
Any other information you want to share:
I have been in this industry for almost 10 years. I have been on the side of the traveler, as well as the side of having an in depth understanding of the facility’s needs. I have experienced travel healthcare staffing in a pre-pandemic, active pandemic, and post pandemic world. This knowledge and experience give both myself and my travelers a well-rounded and unique perspective on any travel healthcare market we might be currently facing. I’m a tell it like it is, get to the point, blunt honesty type of person, but also empathy comes naturally to me, I am driven by relationships and connection, and I will treat you like I’d treat my Mom – who happens to be a Radiation Therapist, who travels, and who has absolutely given me a hard time over pay packages.
Top two things on your Bucket List:
1. Live in a state that is warm year-round. I am not now, nor have I ever been, a fan of winter.
2. Own a home next to or that overlooks a body of water, any body of water. It can be an ocean, a lake, I’m not picky – I just need water!
