Job Description:

Join our team as a Travel Healthcare Professional where you'll be diving into the heart of acute inpatient rehabilitation. You’ll be working in a bustling Bakersfield, California setting, focusing primarily on therapies related to general medical conditions, orthopedic surgeries, and spinal interventions. Your expertise will help patients on their path to recovery, providing crucial evaluations and targeted therapeutic interventions.

This role invites you to bring your acute inpatient physical therapy skills to life, as you engage with a diverse array of patients including those recovering from total knee and hip arthroplasties, as well as spinal surgeries. Your schedule will predominantly feature 8-hour day shifts, with hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and one day a week you may have the opportunity to work a slightly later shift from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm. Plus, enjoy a balanced work-life with only one weekend commitment every third week!

Expect an orientation that not only covers the essentials of your hospital but also allows you a few days to immerse yourself in various departments and get to know the systems at play.
