Job Description:

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in one of the most exhilarating moments in a family’s life—welcoming a new baby into the world! Your expertise will be essential in our 18-bed unit specializing in labor and delivery, where you will assist families through antepartum care, management of labor, and immediate postpartum support. With the chance to float occasionally to pediatrics, you can expect variety while ensuring the best care for mothers and newborns alike.

Your nights will typically involve 12-hour shifts, where you'll monitor vital fetal heart rates and support mothers through labor processes, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries. You'll also perform necessary assessments, triage obstetrical patients, and engage actively in pain management strategies. Whether you're providing soothing care or managing unexpected events, every night will bring new challenges and rewards that won't leave you feeling like you've stepped into a routine.
