Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in a 19-bed blended Stepdown Cardiac Neuro unit at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, Indiana. This travel healthcare contract is tailored for experienced Registered Nurses eager to immerse themselves in a vibrant clinical environment that specializes in post-procedure cardiac care and neuro assessments. As a Stepdown RN, you’ll engage directly with patients recovering from complex procedures such as catheterizations and ablations, while also utilizing your expertise to monitor and manage conditions like STEMI, NSTEMI, and sepsis.

Your adventure will unfold during the night shifts, working 12-hour rotations from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM over a span of 13 weeks. Prepare for a supportive atmosphere where teamwork is essential, as you may float between the Midtown campus and the nearby Newburgh site. You’ll enjoy a good balance of 36 guaranteed hours per week, allowing for a quality experience in both patient care and professional growth.

With required certifications such as AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS, you’ll have the chance to showcase your clinical skills, including tele/12-lead EKG interpretation and critical assessments, while delivering top-tier care to patients in recovery.
