Job Description:

Join our team in Urbana, Illinois, where you will engage in rewarding 1:1 patient care for adults undergoing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures. Embrace the opportunity to make a significant impact by evaluating and enhancing your nursing practice using the Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code for Nurses. You will be responsible for conducting initial assessments upon patient admission and developing personalized care plans that cater to both patient and family needs.

In this dynamic role, you will implement nursing interventions and continuously modify care plans based on your evaluations. You'll administer moderate sedation and medications, always following safety guidelines and protocols. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with patients and multidisciplinary teams, providing emotional support and answering queries, all while contributing to a fun and supportive work environment.

With a cohesive team of 3-4 professionals, including registered nurses and radiology technologists, you'll participate in quality improvement projects, enhance patient care activities, and advocate for safety within the unit.
