Job Description:

Join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in an outpatient oncology clinic located in the vibrant heart of Washington, D.C. In this role, you'll guide and support patients through their oncology journey while collaborating with an exceptional healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include recognizing and communicating abnormal lab values, coordinating care, managing isolation and neutropenic precautions, as well as handling telephone triage. Your expertise will shine as you provide psychosocial care and symptom management for patients facing various oncological conditions including bladder, kidney, brain, breast, and colorectal cancers, among others.

Expect an engaging shift structure of five days a week, working 8-hour days from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You'll be responsible for delivering quality care to your patients in a supportive clinic environment, ensuring not only their physical well-being but also their emotional and psychological needs are met. With a requirement of a D.C. nursing license, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact in patients’ lives while growing your own professional expertise in oncology.
