Job Description:

Step into the exciting opportunity of joining a newly opened high acuity Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina! As a crucial member of this innovative team, you will be part of something special, helping shape the care model in a fresh environment. This position is perfect for Registered Nurses with at least two years of ICU or PCU experience, particularly those familiar with cardiac patients.

In this role, your days will consist of providing exceptional care to patients dealing with conditions such as heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and post-operative recovery following complex cardiac procedures. You'll be hands-on, managing all aspects of patient care while utilizing advanced skills like EKG interpretation and wound care. The unit will initially house 10-12 beds and is set to transition to an ICU by the end of the year, offering a vibrant and evolving atmosphere for your nursing career.

Your typical work will stretch over 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, giving you the chance to balance care with ample downtime to explore the local area. An orientation program will prepare you for success, ensuring you feel confident as you embark on this adventure.
