Job Description:
Are you ready to embrace the exciting world of Labor and Delivery as a Registered Nurse? In this contract role, you will immerse yourself in a fast-paced environment, managing high-risk cases with compassion and expertise. Your work will revolve around providing care in an unique setting that guarantees no two days are alike.
The nights will stretch out before you in 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, allowing for a blend of challenge and camaraderie. You’ll support new families through the labor process and be a crucial part of their journeys, ensuring effective triage and skilled circulation. Expect to wear multiple hats, from charge nurse duties to precepting new team members.
As you navigate the adventure of Labor and Delivery, you’ll need to stay flexible with occasional floating to other areas like Mother-Baby and postpartum, ensuring that you bring your diverse skill set to where it’s most needed. A good cup of coffee will be your best friend during those night shifts!
