Job Description:

Join our team as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse where your expertise will be put to the test, taking on complex cases that challenge even the most seasoned professionals. Located in the vibrant city of Gainesville, Florida, this role involves working in a bustling operating room environment with 15 rooms dedicated to cardiac, neuro, and vascular surgeries. As a traveler, you will work 12-hour night shifts, allowing for a focused and fulfilling experience while adapting to variable day assignments as the staffing needs evolve.

Your primary responsibilities will include both circulating and scrub roles, supporting surgeons and the surgical team during high-stakes procedures. You will collaborate with dedicated staff, ensuring a patient-centered approach even in a fast-paced setting. The role requires a minimum of two years of CVOR nursing experience in a Level 1 trauma center or an academic institution, with recent involvement in open-heart surgery to qualify. Flexibility is key, as you may need to participate in on-call rotations during weekends and holidays, all while sharpening your skills in a supportive yet challenging atmosphere.
