Join our team as a skilled healthcare traveler in the vibrant Alternative Birthing Center located in Bloomington, Illinois. This unique role is focused on labor and delivery, giving you the opportunity to support families during one of the most memorable times in their lives. You will be working in an environment that embraces both innovation and personalized care, ensuring every birth is special. Your expertise in labor & delivery will be essential as you navigate through various cases, from vaginal deliveries to C-sections, and assist in postpartum care within our well-equipped facility.

Our unit boasts a dedicated support team, including OB techs and unit secretaries, ensuring you can focus on what you do best. The role offers a schedule conducive to a balanced lifestyle, with 12-hour night shifts allowing you to enjoy your days in the area. You'll be part of a dynamic and experienced team, with a charge nurse available on each shift, providing guidance without the burden of additional patient assignments.

This contract allows for guaranteed hours during your assignment yet does not penalize for call-offs under our established policy. Enjoy the unique experience of working in a facility that performs approximately 700 deliveries per year while ensuring compliance with AWHONN guidelines, and collaborate with in-house neonatology support available 24/7.
