Job Description:

Join us as a Stepdown Neuro Registered Nurse in Omaha, Nebraska, where your clinical skills will play a vital role in our dynamic mixed acuity unit. You'll find yourself amidst a diverse population, caring for conditions ranging from strokes and seizures to complex neurosurgeries, all under the vibrant night sky.

This engaging 48-bed unit demands that you be prepared to juggle the care of up to five medical-surgical patients, while the specialized neurological focus requires the experience and knowledge to manage intricate care needs, including long-term EEG monitoring. You’ll navigate a fast-paced environment with a structured night shift, ensuring that safety and efficiency remain at the forefront.

With a shift structure of 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:30, you’ll have the unique opportunity to bond with your fellow night owls while honing your expertise in a high-acuity setting. It's an adventure where your experience matters, as successful candidates will bring at least two years of experience from large, urban hospitals.
