Job Description:

Join us as a Cat Scan Technologist and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of imaging! In this travel healthcare contract role, you will be at the forefront of performing complex computed tomography (CT) procedures that produce detailed sectional and three-dimensional images for diagnostic interpretation. Your expertise will assist in both interventional and therapeutic procedures, ensuring top-notch imaging quality.

You will take professional pride in reviewing patients' clinical histories and ensuring accurate documentation in the PACS system. Managing the contrast media process will also be part of your role, as you'll identify and administer contrast as prescribed, while engaging with patients and families to ensure understanding and comfort throughout their experience.

In addition to the technical aspects, your communication skills will shine as you work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to clarify prescriptions and gather necessary clinical information. You'll be responsible for verifying insurance authorizations and scheduling outside studies, which are crucial for accurate diagnostics.
