Job Description:

Join our team as an Intermediate Care RN in the charming city of Wisconsin Rapids, where you will become a vital part of our 8-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care Unit. In this role, you will engage with patients requiring a higher level of care, managing cases such as stable conditions, trauma, and detox protocols. Playing a key role in a fast-paced environment, you'll find yourself truly immersed in hands-on work, focusing on crucial tasks such as titrating insulin drips and monitoring patients with chest tubes or spinal cord injuries. You’ll be challenged to remain resilient and adaptable, as this position requires you to float to other inpatient units when needed, cleverly juggling priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.

This contract offers variable shifts of 12 hours each, ensuring a varied schedule that keeps every week interesting. Weekends and holidays are part of the experience, as you’ll be rotating every other weekend and holiday, contributing to the care of patients during their times of need.
