Job Description:

Join us for an exciting opportunity as a Travel Nurse in the Cardiac Renal Unit, where you will engage in high-stakes monitoring and care for patients recovering from cardiac procedures. As a step-down nurse, you will demonstrate your extensive experience with telemetry as you care for patients who are navigating recovery from conditions such as Afib, CHF, and more. Your focus will be on interpreting 12-lead EKGs, managing hemodynamic drips, and providing care for various cardiac and renal complications. You will work the night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM with a guarantee of 36 hours weekly, but the option to work up to 48 hours is available upon request.

Our unit embraces a collaborative spirit, as you will occasionally float between the Newcastle and Henderson campuses, but rest assured, you will receive a 2-hour notice for any cross-campus assignments. With an emphasis on teamwork and communication, you will thrive in a well-supported environment that encourages professional growth and camaraderie among staff, all under the guidance of a seasoned manager who has built a strong and experienced team.
