Job Description:

Join our healthcare team in St. Louis, Missouri, as a dedicated Step Down Registered Nurse. This unique opportunity focuses on providing care in a fast-paced step down unit, where you’ll work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. You’ll have a manageable patient ratio of 1:4, allowing you to connect with each patient you encounter while overseeing recovery from critical conditions.

Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring patients who are transitioning from intensive care, managing titration of vasopressors, sedation medications, and insulin drips, as well as supporting patients with trach vents, art lines, and chest tubes. With the dynamics of night shifts, you’ll navigate through a quieter environment, giving you the chance to develop strong relationships with both your patients and the team.

If you have a passion for critical care, possess current ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications, and have experience at the bedside within the last six months, we want to hear from you!
