Job Description:

Join our dynamic team in Carlsbad, New Mexico, as a Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse! This exciting contract position will immerse you in a fast-paced medical environment, where you'll be pivotal in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Your role will involve working alongside skilled surgeons and anesthesiologists to provide top-notch care to patients in recovery. With a focus on orthopedic, OB/GYN, podiatry, and trauma cases, you'll bring your expertise to a facility known for its active procedural volume.

You'll enjoy day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3 PM, making it perfect for those who thrive in a structured schedule. Your commitment will include a weekly on-call rotation, adding an adventurous twist to your routine. Expect to treat pre-op and recovery patients, utilizing critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to ensure the safest delivery of care. With a minimum experience requirement of 2 years and certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS, you will play a critical role in a well-rounded healthcare team while accumulating unique experiences along the way!
