Job Description:

Join our engaging multi-specialty surgical center in Quincy, Illinois, where you will be at the forefront of preparing and guiding surgical patients through their journey to recovery. As a key member of our team, you will assess preoperative surgical patients, managing vital statistics, and ensuring they receive essential premedications and IVs. In Phase 1 recovery, your focus will shift to monitoring vital signs, alleviating pain, and addressing post-operative nausea and vomiting. Transitioning to Phase 2, you'll play a crucial role in patient education and discharge preparations, ensuring a smooth transition home.

With an average caseload of 15-20 patients per day across various specialties such as GI, ENT, plastics, and orthopedics, every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth. Enjoy a flexible schedule with options for five 8-hour shifts or four 9-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no call or weekend requirements—perfect for striking a balance between work and personal life!
