Job Description:

This opportunity is for a registered respiratory therapist to join Mercy Hospital South on a 13-week travel contract. Working 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, you’ll be integral to managing respiratory care for patients across various hospital units, including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma. Your expertise will be vital in operating advanced ventilators such as Avea, V60 Bipap, and high-flow systems, while interpreting blood gases and assisting with high-volume critical care cases. The role is perfect for a confident, well-organized therapist comfortable navigating busy environments and supporting colleagues as needed. Expect to engage directly with complex respiratory treatments in a setting that values skill, reliability, and teamwork.
