Job Description:

Join our team as a Cardiovascular Operating Room RN in the vibrant community of Cape Girardeau, Missouri! In this role, you will engage in a variety of cardiovascular cases that keep your skills sharp and your passion ignited. Expect to circulate cases such as CABGs, lung procedures using robotic techniques, endoscopic and open vascular surgeries, carotid endarterectomies, valve replacements, and aneurysm repairs. You will support two skilled cardiovascular surgeons while collaborating with a dedicated team in our state-of-the-art 18-room operating suite.

Your role will include effective communication with patients and their families, ensuring they are involved in care decisions. You will maintain seamless communication through patient handoffs utilizing safety tools like SBAR, and stay informed through unit huddles and team emails. With a focus on evidence-based practice, you will employ your knowledge of cardiac surgical procedures and proficiency in EPIC charting tools to deliver exceptional care and uphold operational standards.
