Job Description:

Join our energetic team in Saint Albans, Vermont, as an ICU Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit. This unique role offers a daytime shift from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., working 36 hours a week, with every other weekend off. You'll be tasked with caring for step-down patients who require close monitoring and support while handling advanced care protocols, including the management of vented patients alongside respiratory therapists.

As a critical member of our team, your responsibilities will include administering basic cardiac and insulin drips, actively participating in rapid response and code blue events, and mentoring newer staff in interpreting telemetry rhythm strips. Experience in critical care is essential, with a preference for candidates holding a Vermont RN license or a multistate compact license, alongside BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
