Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a PCU Registered Nurse at our James Corrections Health Unit in Columbus, Ohio! This exciting opportunity allows you to care for a unique patient population while floating between various oncology medical-surgical units. While oncology experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with a passion for healthcare and a willingness to learn. You’ll be part of a secured corrections environment where staff safety is paramount, and you will work collaboratively with corrections officers to ensure a secure and effective healthcare setting.

In this role, you will utilize EPIC charting to document patient information efficiently. Your responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing patient care, particularly focusing on active oncology diagnoses and treatments. With shifts rotating among days and nights, you’ll experience the thrill of varied clinical challenges in a 12-hour rotating schedule, ensuring no two days are ever the same!
