Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology at a busy Hematology/Oncology Clinic in Rapid City, South Dakota. In this role, you'll collaborate with a team of passionate healthcare professionals, providing essential support to adult patients navigating the complexities of cancer treatment. You will primarily engage in phone triaging and in-basket management, handling prescription refills, patient inquiries, and lab reviews while ensuring that every patient receives the education they need about their treatments — yes, you’ll be the informative guide in their healthcare journey!

Your days will be structured into 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This position offers a unique opportunity to work independently while being supported by a robust team of oncologists and an in-house pharmacist, ensuring you have the resources to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of outpatient or ambulatory oncology experience and will be well-versed in EPIC systems. Your expertise in patient education regarding oral and IV chemotherapy will be vital in this role.
