Job Description:

Join our vibrant team as a travel healthcare professional in Wausau, Wisconsin! Embrace the excitement of stepping into a 12-hour night shift as you care for patients in a 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit. This contract offers you a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with ventilators, tracheostomies, and various medical conditions. You’ll be floating among all inpatient units, adapting to the needs of higher acuity patients, and experiencing firsthand the challenges and rewards of a busy healthcare environment.

Looking for seasoned professionals with at least 2 years of nursing experience in stepdown or intermediate care units. You should be comfortable managing patients on insulin drips, be knowledgeable about trauma care, and be well-versed in ventilator and trach management. Familiarity with EPIC charting will be beneficial and allow you to hit the ground running!
