Job Description:
Join our dynamic team as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Dayton, Ohio, where you'll engage in an exciting and rewarding healthcare environment. This is a unique opportunity to thrive in a collaborative team nursing model, partnering with both another nurse and a Patient Care Technician to provide exceptional support to a dedicated group of patients. With a targeted ratio of 1:4 to 1:5, you'll be involved in managing patients with diverse needs, including COPD, CHF, pneumonia, and other complex conditions.
In this role, you will have the chance to work with telemetry, drips, and ventilators, ensuring that you utilize your skills in a supportive and patient-focused environment. Your experience with vents and EPIC will be critical as you collaborate closely with our team of Respiratory Therapists. Whether you're rotating through team nursing or primary nursing, each shift will offer variety and opportunities for professional growth. Nights shift (19:00 - 07:30), don't forget your navy blue scrubs!
