Job Description:

Join us for an engaging travel healthcare contract as a Respiratory Care Specialist, where your expertise will breathe new life into patient care! In this role, you will disassemble, wash, rinse, dry, and package respiratory equipment, ensuring everything is in tip-top shape for effective treatment. You’ll evaluate the results of respiratory care delivered according to established care plans and be a key figure in demonstrating your clinical judgment and technical skills.

Your responsibilities will extend to preparing and testing respiratory therapy equipment, checking for proper operation, and reporting any malfunctions. Your keen attention to detail will help maintain accurate records in the EMR, including respiratory flow sheets and care plans. You will conduct assessments on ventilator patients and recommend timely interventions for all those in respiratory care services. Collaborating closely with physicians and the Respiratory Care Practitioners, your role also includes evaluating patients in both inpatient units and the Emergency Room.

You will work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the city during the day while providing essential night-time care. This assignment is perfect for those with RRT, NBRC certification, and upon experience in Trauma 1, NICU/PICU, and EPIC.
