Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Respiratory Therapist in Urbana, Illinois, where your expertise will shine in a dynamic hospital setting! In this travel healthcare role, you will disassemble, wash, rinse, dry, and package respiratory equipment—ensuring everything is spotless and functional for the best patient outcomes. You’ll evaluate and document the results of respiratory care delivered, work with ventilator patients, and assess their needs for further treatment or referrals, all while operating state-of-the-art equipment.

As a role model in Respiratory Care, you will demonstrate your clinical judgment and technical skills while guiding fellow team members. Your duties will include preparing and testing respiratory therapy equipment for safe operation, reporting any malfunctions, and ensuring that all records and charts in the electronic medical record (EMR) are accurate. This position involves a night shift schedule, offering a unique experience where you can hone your skills in a quieter nighttime environment while making a significant impact.
