Job Description:
Embark on an exciting adventure as a Travel Respiratory Nurse in Tuscaloosa, Alabama! This 13-week assignment offers you the chance to work in a bustling Medical Respiratory Unit specializing in acute and chronic respiratory conditions. Here, you’ll take charge of a diverse patient population, from those battling pneumonia to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and various lung diseases. With a manageable 1:6 patient ratio, you’ll join an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing comprehensive care. Is versatility your middle name? Excellent! You'll also have the opportunity to float to other units and hospitals as needed, enabling you to broaden your horizons and gain valuable experience in different medical environments.
Your role consists of vital assessments, developing and implementing respiratory care plans, and collaborating with your team during daily rounds. Prepare to engage with patients primarily in respiratory distress, fostering meaningful connections that go beyond just the clinical aspect of care.
