Job Description:

This travel nursing assignment places you on the 3 Pavilion / 3 T Pulmonary & Observation unit, where you'll work with adult and geriatric patients diagnosed with respiratory issues and medical conditions. Your role involves managing patients with trachs (non-vented), titrating critical drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Lasix, Dopamine, and Amiodarone, and providing comprehensive care in a setting that emphasizes autonomous practice within a well-staffed team. Expect to contribute to patient care during 12-hour night shifts, collaborating closely with monitor techs and charge nurses, who may also entrust you with increased responsibilities like filling in as charge nurse or house supervisor if needed. The environment offers a unique chance to refine your Med-Surg, Telemetry, and Critical Drip skills, particularly with cardiac and respiratory focus, all while working with advanced RT equipment and specialty beds. Suitable candidates will bring previous travel experience, with a solid background in telemetry, critical drips, and trach care, ready to support adult and geriatric cardiac and respiratory patients in a fast-paced setting.
