Job Description:

Join a dedicated team at Medical City Plano, working on the Ortho Trauma Specialty Medsurge unit. This contract position offers an engaging opportunity for experienced medical surgical nurses to manage a variety of complex cases, including polytrauma patients, cervical fractures, and trauma with downgraded TBI. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts, contributing to a ward that handles up to 36 beds with a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 during flexible staffing. Expect to perform procedures related to trauma, orthopedics, and general surgical care, all within a supportive environment that values teamwork and efficiency. This role is perfect for nurses who thrive on handling diverse patient scenarios and are comfortable with advanced telemetry equipment and using Meditech EMR.
