Join a dedicated MedSurg unit in Iron River, where you'll care for mainly geriatric patients with conditions like CHF and COPD. This 25-bed unit offers a variety of cases and the chance to work with experienced professionals. You'll be scheduled for 12-hour night shifts, providing an opportunity to enjoy quieter daytime hours off. Expect to float to the ER and ICU to lend a helping hand when needed. This assignment emphasizes general nursing skills in a supportive environment, with patient ratios averaging 4-6 patients per nurse. The role includes flexibility for on-call duties during low census periods, with pay for callback.
