Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses in Evansville, Indiana, for a 13-week night contract at a prominent hospital located in the Midtown campus. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, including post-surgical cases, UTI, sepsis, COPD, CHF, and high fall risk patients. The shift runs from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, providing a steady overnight schedule where you'll perform assessments, manage chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, administer blood and blood products, and handle complex patient needs. Your critical thinking and assessment skills will be essential as you support a unit with 41 beds, ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The role includes cross-campus float opportunities within skill set, and a focus on maintaining patient safety while navigating a busy Med/Surg setting.
