Job Description:

This Endoscopy RN contract offers a hands-on role in a bustling, high-volume endoscopy unit housed within a Level II Trauma Center. As part of this team, you will scrub and circulate during advanced GI procedures such as ERCP with stent placement, Colonic EMR, and EUS, working closely with four different physician groups including Pulmonary, Gastric Enterology, Peds GI, and Northeast Surgery. You'll experience a fast-paced environment where efficiency and technical skills are key, with an average of 35-40 procedures daily. The position involves pre-op and recovery phases, supporting patients before and after their procedures, and polishing your intra-op skills with basic bronchoscopy experience. Expect a team-oriented culture that values teamwork and traveler friendliness, with well-organized support staff and a focus on quick recovery of patients under MAC, some under general anesthesia. Location: Bangor, Maine
Shift: 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, 0700-1730
