Job Description:

Join our team in Marshfield for a pediatric RN contract that offers a vibrant experience on a busy pediatric floor. You'll be providing essential care to children with a variety of diagnoses, including respiratory issues, traumas, surgical recoveries, neuro conditions, and behavioral health concerns such as suicide, overdose, and eating disorders. This role involves managing central lines, drawing labs, and working with patient ratios of 1:3 for total patient care, with additional support from nurse aides. The assignment is perfect for RNs with at least one year of pediatric experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with general pediatric nursing tasks. You’ll work 12-hour day shifts, with a flexible, tiered self-scheduling approach, every other weekend, and alternating holidays. There's no call requirement, and floating to PICU or NICU is possible for those with the relevant experience. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or new to travel nursing, duos are welcome as long as schedules differ. The unit is supported by in-house residents and nearby intensivists, ensuring comprehensive pediatric care. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your pediatric nursing skills in a lively setting while enjoying the unique charm of Marshfield.
