Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses in Wilmington, North Carolina, for an engaging 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers the chance to manage a variety of patient diagnoses, including dementia, diabetes, COVID-19, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, encephalopathy, GI bleed, anemia, and hip fractures, within a specialized isolation area for COVID patients. The unit provides multi-level care, including stepdown, with a focus on telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, wound care, and respiratory management. Expect to work in an environment that emphasizes collaboration, quick response using Rapid Response Teams, and adherence to strict safety protocols. This assignment is perfect for experienced travelers eager to apply their clinical expertise in a fast-paced setting while participating in a Storm or Hurricane Team, with potential deployment during emergencies.
