Job Description:

Join our team as a Histology Technician on a travel healthcare contract in Colorado Springs. You’ll be working in the Lab - Histology department, focusing on routine histology procedures such as embedding and microtomy. Your primary responsibilities will include performing IHC, special stains, and digital pathology analysis, all while maintaining a keen eye for detail. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to work in a well-equipped laboratory environment with systems like Epic Beaker and Roche instruments. The role is Monday through Friday, 8-hour days, with a total duration of approximately 13 weeks. Expect to collaborate with the Technical Coordinator reporting to the Lab Director, and to participate in both organization and lab-specific orientations. This position is perfect for experienced histotechnicians who are ready to apply their skills in a supportive setting that values precision and expertise.

Job Specifics:

Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Shift: Wednesday through Sunday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Duration: 13 weeks, approximately 40 hours per week
