Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you in a busy emergency department around Garden City, Kansas, providing essential patient services on 12-hour day shifts. As a travel nurse, you will float seamlessly between multiple ER locations within a 60-mile radius, including hospitals in Ulysses and Dodge City. Your role involves managing a mix of patients presenting with conditions like abdominal pain, diabetes, stroke, trauma, and pneumonia, using standard ER medications and emergency protocols. Flexibility and independence are key—your ability to adapt and function in different ER environments, often with limited direct supervision, makes this position unique. Prepare for a lively and rewarding experience, with the chance to see a variety of cases while working alongside skilled physicians, mid-level providers, and support staff.
