Job Description:

Join a dedicated neonatal intensive care unit as a travel nurse and become an essential part of a team that handles complex neonatal cases in a private-room NICU setting. This 12-hour night shift role offers the opportunity to manage infants with conditions such as prematurity, PPHN, and respiratory support needs, including vents and HFNC. While couplet care is routine, you'll also attend deliveries and help with newborn admissions, sometimes assisting with care in the Mother Baby area. Expect to use advanced skills like UVC, UAC, and managing ELBW infants, all within a unit following AWHONN staffing guidelines, typically at a 1:2 ratio. Prior NICU Level III or IV experience is required, and proficiency with needed equipment such as VENTs, BPAP, and NC is essential. This contract offers a unique chance to work alongside in-house neonatologists and partner hospitals, providing critical care for the tiniest patients in a supportive environment that values independence and expertise.
