Job Description:

Step into this night shift role on the 4th floor of a busy medical-surgical and telemetry unit at CJW Chippenham Medical Center in Richmond. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing crucial support on a unit that cares for 34 patients with a patient ratio of approximately 5-6:1. Your role will focus on assisting registered nurses and tech staff by managing telemetry bedside monitors, operating equipment like vein finders and glucometers, and supporting interventions such as wound care, blood product administration, and drainage management. With a team-oriented approach, you'll help maintain a smooth workflow during busy overnight hours and ensure patient comfort and safety are priorities. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your skills in trauma and telemetry environments while enjoying a work schedule that allows for daytime leisure and exploration.
