Job Description:

Join a dedicated ICU team at Henrico Doctors Hospital - Forest, located in Richmond, VA, for an engaging short-term travel opportunity in the Surgical ICU. This role offers the chance to work in a 12-bed unit with a patient ratio of 2:1, utilizing advanced ICU equipment including ventilators, CRRT, and ICP monitoring. You will focus on managing trauma, vascular, abdominal, and neuro surgical patients, performing procedures that challenge your skills and expand your experience. The ideal candidate has at least two years of recent ICU experience, with preferred backgrounds in Neuro, Trauma, or Surgical ICU settings, and holds BLS and ACLS certifications. This position involves 12-hour day shifts, with a 36-hour weekly commitment, and requires floating within ICU and step-down units. It’s a prime chance to hone your critical care skills in a fast-paced environment, all while enjoying a supportive team atmosphere.
