Job Description:

This assignment involves working in a 12-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) located at HCA LewisGale Medical Center. As a critical care professional, you'll focus on complex patient monitoring, including utilizing advanced equipment like Tablo, IABP, Impella, Swan Ganz, and brain cooling devices. The role necessitates collaborating with a team of experienced staff—ranging from directors and managers to RNs and externs—during 12-hour day shifts. Your primary responsibilities will include performing procedures such as bedside trach, sheath removal, and managing post-cath care, all while coordinating care in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your ICU skills and work with innovative technology in a supportive team setting.
