Job Description:

This contract opportunity is designed for inpatient CVOR RN professionals ready to perform specialized cardiovascular surgery procedures in a dedicated heart hospital setting. You will be working on the 1st floor of the Heart Hospital of Austin, focusing on complex operations such as CABG, valve repairs or replacements, and endovascular procedures. Your role involves supporting the surgical team during a variety of cardiac surgeries, managing surgical instruments, and ensuring smooth operating room flow during 10-hour shifts. The assignment offers a chance to immerse yourself in a high-tech environment with advanced equipment like laparoscopic towers, EVH video systems, and cryo devices—all while enjoying a schedule that balances professional rigor with manageable on-call responsibilities, including one weeknight and rotation weekends every six weeks.
