Job Description:

This contract position involves working on a telemetry unit specializing in cardiopulmonary diagnoses, including CHF, chest pain, and post-cardiac cath patients. You will be responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms, titrating IV drips such as Nitro, Amiodarone, Lasix, Heparin, and Dopamine, and managing adult and geriatric patients. The shifts are 12 hours, rotating between day and night, with a focus on cross-training to prepare for charge nurse responsibilities. Expect a mix of routine telemetry tasks, patient assessments, and collaboration with monitor techs and fellow staff to ensure top-tier patient care in a fast-paced setting.
