Job Description:

This IMU RN contract offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including med-surg, tele, cardiac IMCU, neuro, and CVA patients. You'll be responsible for managing patient care at an acuity level that challenges your skills, with a focus on charge responsibilities, for which additional pay and training are provided. The role involves 12-hour night shifts ending on Saturdays, with orientations held every other Monday. Expect to contribute to a teaching environment, often working alongside students and new hires. The unit typically aims for two to three weekends per month, but scheduling may vary based on staffing needs. Active VA or Compact licenses are required, and previous central hospital experience in similar settings is a must.
